Students in Kindergarten through 12th grade are required to wear uniforms to school. Preschool and Pre-K students do not wear uniforms (they should wear play clothes every day). Please make every effort to purchase items that fall within the guidelines, so that our teachers and staff can focus on preparing our students to love God and love others.
An FAQ has been provided at the bottom of the page, but please feel free to contact the office if you have any questions about uniform guidelines.
Purchasing Uniforms:
Uniform items may be purchased from any retailer that sells items in the styles listed above. Some popular retailers are Target, Walmart, Old Navy, Kohl’s, Children’s Place, French Toast or Amazon.
A logo is not required on polos, but if you wish to purchase uniforms with a WCA logo, please visit our Land’s End school store. Our preferred school code is 900088386. If you create a Lands End account with WCA as your preferred school and add each student, you will be shown a page with pre-approved items that meet the school uniform code.
Uniform Outerwear: Westlake hosts a spirit wear store three times a year. Uniform hoodies and sweatshirts can be purchased through the spirit store. The spirit store is open in August, November, and February, which coincides with our three sports seasons.
NEW FOR 2024–25: Any outerwear purchased from the WCA spirit store may be worn as “uniform approved”. This includes includes athletic team sweatshirts. Outerwear must be worn over a uniform polo.
Uniform Resale: Westlake hosts a resale every summer. Gently used items are available at low prices. The resale usually runs during summer office hours (M–F, 9–3) for the last few weeks of July. Please check the school calendar for exact dates. Clean and gently used uniform items may be donated to the resale by dropping them off at the school office.
Dollar Dress Down Day
Every Friday is a dress down day for students who bring $1 (to benefit Student Council or the Senior Mission Trip). Learn more about dress down guidelines.
