Extended Care

Before Care & After Care

Extended Care is available for WCA students in Preschool–6th grade. Before Care (7am–7:50am) is provided in the cafeteria of the main building and includes supervised time for play and/or homework. After Care (3:25–6:00pm) offers additional playtime, snacks, and homework supervision for older grades.

Please Note: Extended Care is not available for teacher in-service days, holidays, or spring and Christmas vacations. On half-days, Before Care is available, but not After Care.

Annual Registration

Annual registration is required for families who will need a regular Extended Care schedule. 

Families may also use Before and After Care on an “as needed” drop-in basis. You must register (see below) once per school year if you plan to use drop-in care. This can be done at the beginning of the school year or at any time, if the need arises. 

If you are planning to have your child drop-in for extended care, advance notification is appreciated. Please call the office at (847) 548–6209.

Rates & Billing

Due to increases in staffing costs, extended care rates have changed for the 2024-25 school year. Our goal is to keep rates as affordable as possible for families, while still covering our expenses.

Extended care is billed at the same frequency as tuition:

• Annual tuition payers will be charged a one-time annual cost for Extended Care.
• Monthly tuition payers will have Extended Care added to their payments for Sept–May via your FACTS account.
• Drop-in charges are totaled and billed monthly in your FACTS account.
