Ready or not, snow is coming!
If you’re wondering if Westlake will be open due to the weather, you can find out in a few different ways:
- Check your phone for a text alert (make sure your cell phone number is current in your FACTS Family Portal Account)
- Check the Westlake website for a pop-up site-wide alert
- Call our office and listen for an automated message: 847-548-6209
- Check your email; we will send each family an email by 6:00 AM
Please note: Westlake no longer uses Emergency Closing Center to report school closures.

Join us on Saturday, December 7th from 9:00-11:00am as we make special holiday keepsakes with Mom (or other special adult)! Enjoy light refreshments and snacks while crafting festive frames to capture those precious memories.

A New Bus for Westlake

Westlake has the opportunity to purchase a second bus that seems like a perfect fit for our needs. The bus is available NOW, and we are trying to move quickly.
We are hoping that some of you might be interested in supporting this investment. We already have $11,000, which was designated as their Senior Class Gift by a group of former Westlake students. The remaining amount needed is $31,400.
We have been searching for a bus that is safe, reliable, and flexible. Here’s why we think we found the perfect bus for Westlake:
- Low mileage - 28k
- Includes a tow hitch
- Freshly repainted, new tires, under coating
- 15 Passenger Non-CDL (coaches can drive)
- Formerly owned and maintained by US military
We are always asking God to provide for our needs. Perhaps He will provide through you, or someone you know. Would you consider sharing this information with anyone you know who might want to support the purchase of a new bus?

Our fall athletics season is coming to a close and our winter season starts all too soon! If your student wants to participate in basketball this winter, sign up today!

Operation Christmas Child

We’re excited to share that our 3rd and 7th graders are leading the charge for an all-school Operation Christmas Child project this year! Our goal is to fill 150 shoe boxes with gifts for children in need, and we’re inviting students from Preschool–12th grade to be part of this meaningful effort.
